Because we nee...And your point for this extract is?
Because we need to know that:
we have indwelling sin in our flesh such that when we would do good works evil is still present with us, such that none of our works are perfect.
We want to do perfect and yer we miss that and thus sin.
The believers heart has so changed that he now loves the law and to obey God whereas before he loved sin and had no desire to please God.
The power of sin is so broken in conversion that a Christian is no longer a slave to sin and is a slave to righteous living. They keep the commandments and do not tolerate gross presumptuous sins it to even be mentioned among them.
Those who commit gross sin are not converted or have no reason for assurance they are and even those who continue to practice or commit sin are not converted.

We still have sins of imperfection of the flesh, we are sinners,we do sin and need to repent and ask forgiveness for even these sins, but we are not as those in the world. Our hearts fight against sin and it does not have dominion over us. We can resist temptation and have the power to not sin. God has promised to provide a way of escape with the temptation so that there is no excuse to sin commit a sin.

These are the great and needed truths people today need to know. I don't know one person who truly beats themself up with the law and says I am depressed because of my sin. Those who do that are in sin, and they may also lack faith and need to be told to stop the sinning they continue in that is a burden on them and to ask for grace to repent of this so they can have some assurance of salvation if they are converted. For most who would claim this, it is probably a false humility an cry for help because they are still under conviction of sin and have not given it up and want to be comforted in their sin so they can continue in them and do not want to hear sermons that convict them, and point them to freedom from sin in Christ.
Weak pastors cave into this as they consider their ow sin and desires for sin rather than pointing to the glories and blessings and power of the Spirit. In giving strength to mortify sin and trust in God for salvation not their ability to stop sinning.WellthMentorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05509158969680244724noreply@blogger.com
